He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves?

আর তারা জেরুজালেমে আসে: আর যীশু মন্দিরে প্রবেশ করে, যারা মন্দিরে বিক্রি এবং ক্রয় করছিল, তাদের বের করে দিতে লাগলেন, এবং মুদ্রা পরিবর্তনকারীদের টেবিল ও কপোত বিক্রেতাদের আসন উল্টে দিলেন; এবং তিনি কাউকে মন্দিরের মধ্য দিয়ে কোনও পাত্র নিয়ে যেতে দিতেন না। আর তিনি তাদের শিক্ষা দিলেন, বললেন, লেখা নেই কি, আমার ঘর সর্ব জাতির প্রার্থনার ঘর নামে খ্যাত হবে? কিন্তু তোমরা এটিকে ডাকাতদের আড্ডা বানিয়েছ?
